Coda
Blue Practice was tasked with launching the long-awaited Coda Automotive electric sedan, and a new energy storage division of the company based on the vehicle’s battery technology.
What we did
In working with Coda, Blue Practice fulfilled urgent corporate communications demands, including public relations strategy, aggressive media relations execution, and communications counsel. We supported marketing and sales, positioned the company successfully through roll-out of the first vehicles, addressed concerns about production delays, secured speaker placement at industry conferences, and assisted with investor relations and event management.
Blue Practice also took on messaging sessions and media training for key executives, a third-party influencer program, and shareholder relations planning and managing key roll-out events like the official opening of their Los Angeles factory; a ribbon-cutting with local officials, investors and media for the completion of the first car off the assembly line in Benicia California; and managing communications and media engagement at the Los Angeles Auto Show and the North American Auto Show.
During our engagement with Coda, we launched an entire new division of the company - Coda Energy - to repurpose the battery technology as an energy storage solution.
In addition to developing the audience engagement strategy and messaging for the new division, we managed the division’s public launch at DistribuTECH with heightened focus on the energy and utility sector.
