Together with California’s cleantech industry and environmental organizations, we at Blue Practice are urging that you Californians vote “no” on Proposition 23!
Prop 23 will block the amazing progress made through AB32 last year by risking our leadership in cleantech, killing job potential in a high-growth area and turning the clock back on important climate change policies.
Stalling AB32 because unemployment rates are too high, and mandating that job rates have to reach practically their lowest rates ever before we institute these policies doesn’t make sense. Cleantech is one of the few growing business sectors in California. We’ve seen it firsthand with our California-based clients in solar power, LED lights, the smart grid, advanced biofuels, energy efficiency the EV industry, green products, and our venture capital partners who have literally put billions into these categories. Our little company is a small sliver of the thousands of jobs aided by developing this sector – and there’s potential for hundreds of thousands more.
California is already an expensive environment for businesses, but government support has helped keep an amazing talent base here, putting California on the cutting edge of the cleantech transformation. Don’t make Blue Practice have to relocate to China. Let’s keep cleantech in California, please join us in NO on 23!
