Greetings from Blue Practice!

Time has marched quickly at our agency – 2010 marks the third anniversary of our founding.  After giving our clients the better of our attention for so long, we’ve decided to turn inwards and invest in a new corporate look and feel that better represents the expertise we’ve cultivated over the past several years.  Thanks for checking out our new website.

Why the change? We wanted to build an identity that spoke to our sustainability and Cleantech focus, reflected our thoughtful, intelligent approach to communications and presented a clean, modern aesthetic.   We believe we’ve captured that feeling in our new logo, which you see here.

The new site carries the same revised tone as the logo, and brings a cleaner, more navigable format. Beyond just a refresh, we’ve added case studies to reflect some of our best work, and several new ways to share news and information with you. With a new Twitter feed and, of course, the blog that’s much simpler and more robust than our previous format, we’re now capable of providing an ongoing flow of company and client information to you.

We look forward to keeping you informed of our work, as there’s so much afoot to share.  Just in the past few months, we’ve accomplished quite a bit.

* We’ve kicked off work with some really amazing Cleantech and green companies like Miasole, PACT, Lemnis Lighting, William McDonough + Partners and MBDC,a global consultancy helping clients achieve optimized sustainability using the Cradle to Cradle® framework.

* We did some major positioning work for our clients, helping EPS define its role as a market leader in Energy Intelligence and Silver Spring Networks as a leading provider of Smart Grid solutions.

* We collaborated with GigaOM to produce a bunker session on the Smart Grid sponsored by Silver Spring Networks

* We helped launch the world’s largest landfill gas-to-fuel facility for Waste Management

* We’ve joined TEDxSF committee and are providing marketing and PR support for some upcoming regional TED events in San Francisco – stay tuned!

* As Trustee of the Switzer foundation, Jessica Switzer led a rebranding effort for the foundation that cultivates environmental leaders.

* We launched the first dimmable LED bulb in the US consumer market – the Pharox60.

There’s much more to come, and we’re looking forward to sharing with you.  Please stay tuned, and we’d love to hear your thoughts on the new look in the comments section!

Best wishes,

The Blue Practice crew
