Blue Practice and Grist Create "Arm Yourself - How to Talk to a Climate Skeptic" Booklet for TED 2007 Conference

'Arm Yourself' now...Blue Practice has worked with online environmental magazine Grist (www.grist.org) to create a compact yet thorough guide to global warming arguments and rebuttals entitled "Arm Yourself - How to Talk to a Climate Skeptic: Top 30 Frequently Used Arguments & Rebuttals". A complementary printed copy was provided to all attendees of the 2007 TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Conference (www.ted.com) in Monterey, CA.

Designed as a portable booklet for "quick and easy access" according to Blue Practice's Jessica Switzer and Tim Gnatek, the "Arm Yourself" booklet carefully lists, considers, and retorts thirty arguments frequently used by skeptics of global warming.

TED is an annual conference known for bringing together hundreds of "thought-leaders, movers, and shakers" for four days of networking, idea-sharing, and collaboration on cutting-edge issues in technology, entertainment, design, business, science, and the arts. 2007 speakers include NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, Nobel prize laureate Murray Gell-Mann, author Michael Pollan, songwriter Paul Simon, former President Bill Clinton, and many other "icons, geniuses, and mavericks".

Blue Practice and Grist see the TED conference as a unique opportunity to spread awareness and "arm" over one thousand influencers in the movement to find sustainable solutions to the challenges of global warming.
