Blue Practice To Support International Electric Vehicle Conference EVS-23

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 25, 2007 – The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) has retained Blue Practice to develop and manage public relations and marketing strategy on behalf of the 23rd International Electric Vehicle symposium, which will be held in Anaheim, California from December 2-5, 2007.

The symposium will gather the leaders in industry and academia, along with environmentalists and entrepreneurs, to explore the field of electric, hybrid and fuel cell vehicles. EVS-23 will feature over 200 jury-paper presentations, plenary sessions and workshops, more than 100 exhibitors under a 50,000 square foot exhibit hall, and a “ride and drive” event featuring the latest in electric vehicle technologies.

Jessica Switzer, co-founder of Blue Practice, will play a vital role on the account. “We are exceptionally pleased to have been chosen by EDTA to support this very important conference,” said Switzer, whose EV experience includes marketing and launch strategy for Tesla Motors as the company’s Vice President of Marketing. “Electric vehicles have already attracted attention, whether in best-selling hybrids or high performance applications. We look forward to helping make this event a success by furthering visibility for advances in sustainable transportation,” she said.

“Blue Practice offers a hard-to-find specialty as an exclusively green-focused agency,” said Jennifer Watts, Manager of Marketing and Communications at EDTA. “We’re counting on their well-honed expertise to help make EVS-23 a great success,” she said.
