Based in Portland, Oregon, Creative Communications Director Liz Batchelder will lend marketing strategy and enhance the agency's ability to execute on print and interactive design. She comes to Blue Practice from EDAW, a global design, environmental planning, and economic, social, and cultural services firm. Batchelder holds BA and MFA degrees in writing, and in her more than ten years of professional experience has crafted effective communication and collateral for a wide variety of purposes, including advertisements, brochures, websites, e-communications campaigns, speeches, and conference materials. Veteran journalist Alisa Weinstein joins the San Francisco office as Senior Client Partner Advocate, where she will lead public relations campaigns and use her years as a journalist to counsel clients on media strategy. Weinstein has worked for Red Herring, The Denver Post, Marketwatch.com and The Bulletin in Bend, Oregon. Prior to joining Blue Practice, she worked at a boutique PR firm where she led national media initiatives, including press tours, exclusive media engagements, and new product launches. She earned a Master’s in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003.
